Recovery Coaching

What is a Recovery Coach?

A Recovery Coach supports you on your journey from addiction to recovery – and beyond.

Amber Path will show you new ways of thinking that will enable you to cope with life’s challenges and leave your self-defeating behaviours, and addiction, behind.

Who will want to use this service?
People who wish to end their addiction and are motivated to change. They will be willing to explore the causes and triggers of their addiction, identify and address any unresolved issues and learn new coping strategies as they work towards success.

Amber Path will support you to explore and identify what led to your addictive behaviour and use the obstacles that used to be triggers to become stepping stones to a new way of life.  You will redefine yourself without the guilt and shame that you currently endure each time you face the reality of your lifestyle.

You can live a safer, healthier lifestyle in the knowledge that you can plan for the future and achieve life goals that have been on hold, forgotten or are yet to be created.

β€œTo share your weakness is to make yourself vulnerable;

to make yourself vulnerable is to show your strength.”

― Criss Jami

And it doesn’t stop there – we can provide ongoing, long term support that can help you to form a new, productive and satisfying lifestyle without the pain you are currently experiencing.  You will come to terms with your past and redefine and achieve those goals that seem to be currently out of reach.

We will work with you to develop a specific, personalised plan that is geared to your particular experiences, lifestyle and goals, enabling you to recreate your sense of humanity and normality and re-establish or build new links with family and friends, the workplace or society in general, if that is what you want.

Imagine being able to socialise or simply
function again without fear of falling back
into old self-defeating behaviours,
